NaMATA Opens Nine Senior Management Positions to Boost Nairobi Metropolitan Transport

The Nairobi Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (NaMATA) has announced nine job openings aimed at strengthening its leadership team responsible for public transport infrastructure and network management within the Nairobi metropolitan region.
The advertised roles, published on the MyGov platform on August 25, 2026, cover 11 positions across nine categories. NaMATA’s jurisdiction includes Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Murang’a, and Kiambu counties.
Key Positions Available
- Deputy Directors: Four vacancies in Infrastructure Development, Network Management, Corporate Policy, Research and Strategy, and Legal Services.
- Assistant Directors: Two positions each in Infrastructure Development and Network Management; one each in Legal Services, Human Resource and Administration, and Supply Chain Management.
Application Details and Requirements
Remuneration for these roles will follow the guidelines set by the State Corporations Advisory Committee (SCAC) in consultation with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC). Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the NaMATA website for comprehensive job descriptions and requirements before applying.
Applicants must submit documents proving compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution, including a KRA Tax Compliance Certificate, HELB clearance, a certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), and a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) clearance.
