Kenyan Man Overjoyed as Father Finally Visits Australia After Years of Persuasion
After years of gentle urging, a Kenyan man in Australia welcomes his father who initially resisted the idea of traveling abroad.
Tuikong Vic Kutto, a Kenyan living in Australia, is celebrating a heartfelt milestone after his father finally agreed to visit him, ending years of reluctance and gentle persuasion.
Since arriving in Australia, Kutto had hoped to host his father, but the elder man initially dismissed the idea, even joking that his fingerprints wouldn’t work for a passport. Despite repeated requests over the years, the father remained hesitant.
Family Efforts and Changing Hearts
Kutto’s mother and mother-in-law made separate trips to Australia, serving as informal messengers and gradually softening the father's resistance. Additionally, Kutto’s father-in-law played a crucial role behind the scenes, encouraging the visit.
When the father finally agreed, the passport was processed within a week — a notably swift turnaround that surprised the family.
A Message of Hope
Kutto expressed gratitude for the collective family effort and what he described as "God's perfect timing" in making the visit possible. He shared a message to other Kenyans in the diaspora facing similar challenges: "DON'T GIVE UP. God's time is always the best."
He warmly welcomed his father and both parents to Australia, eager to share his life abroad with them.
