Paul Ng’eno, Brother of Late MP Johana Ng’eno, Passes Away After Long Illness
Paul Ng’eno, brother to the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno, has died after battling complications from a motorbike accident.
Paul Ng’eno, brother of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno, died on August 21 while undergoing treatment in Eldoret, his family has confirmed. His passing comes 174 days after Johana died in a helicopter crash in Nandi County.
Paul had been suffering from complications related to a motorbike accident that severely affected his spinal cord and throat. He had recently undergone surgery and appeared stable before his condition suddenly worsened.
During a visit to the Ng’eno family home in Mogondo, Narok County, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua committed to paying off Paul’s outstanding hospital bill amounting to Sh1.8 million. Gachagua also pledged to construct a mausoleum in honor of the late MP Johana Ng’eno and called for an investigation into Johana’s death involving Scotland Yard and the FBI.
Background on Johana Ng’eno’s Death
Johana Ng’eno died in a helicopter crash on February 28 in Mosop Sub-County, Nandi County. The aircraft struck trees amid poor visibility caused by heavy mist before crashing and catching fire, killing six people on board.
Family Survivors
- Paul and Johana are survived by their sisters Elizabeth Chumo and Sarah Temas.
- Another sister, Janeth Chepkosgei, passed away before Johana.
