Tyson Fury Doubts November Fight with Anthony Joshua Will Take Place
Tyson Fury expresses skepticism over his scheduled November bout with Anthony Joshua, blaming promoter Eddie Hearn for stalled negotiations.
British heavyweight Tyson Fury has cast doubt on the highly anticipated fight against Anthony Joshua set for November 20, suggesting it may not materialize.
Fury criticized Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, accusing him of demanding excessive funds from Saudi sports figure Turki Alalshikh, which has hampered finalizing the bout.
In an Instagram post, the 38-year-old Fury stated, "Doesn't look like they're going to sign the fight, doesn't look like it's going to happen. All because Eddie Hearn and that want more money." He added that Hearn and Joshua had already profited from multiple deals involving boxing, darts, and snooker with Alalshikh over recent years.
While Joshua's contract reportedly requires the fight to be held in the UK, recent reports have suggested Madison Square Garden in New York as a possible venue. Fury has indicated he may face a different opponent in November if an agreement is not reached.
