Nominated Senator Tabitha Maureen Mutinda has been appointed Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the World Scout Parliamentary Union Kenya (SUPKEM), a role announced by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.
The appointment was officially published in Gazette Notice No. 13509 on July 23, 2026, under the Intergovernmental Relations Act. The Executive Committee comprises members of Parliament, a governor, county assembly members, and senior government officials dedicated to promoting the Scouting movement and youth development initiatives.
Committee Composition and Role
- Members include MPs John Waweru Kiarie, Dorice Donya Aburi, Wilberforce Oundo Ojiambo, Pamela Njeru Njoki, and Innocent Maino Mugabe.
- Other members are Senator Jackson Kiplagat Mandago, Nyeri Governor Mwalimu Edward Mutahi Kahiga, MCA Job Mukoyandali, nominated MCA Evalyne Chepkoech Tirop, and Principal Secretaries from key government departments.
