Rigathi Gachagua to Engage Gen-Z in Consultative Forum Ahead of 2027 Elections

Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua is set to hold a consultative forum with Generation Z youth before releasing a press statement at 3pm today.
This engagement is part of his ongoing political consultations across Kenya as he prepares for the 2027 General Election. The forum aims to gather views from young voters, reflecting Gachagua's efforts to broaden his support base.
Gachagua is also scheduled to meet grassroots leaders from Isiolo and Marsabit counties, marking the conclusion of his 56-day nationwide consultation tour. Initially planned as a 45-day break from public rallies, the consultation period was extended to allow deeper engagement with various communities.
Throughout this period, Gachagua has met delegates from diverse regions including Mount Kenya and the South Rift, reinforcing his political mobilisation ahead of next year’s polls.

Meanwhile, the Kenya Meteorological Department will hold a forum focused on enhancing preparedness and early action for the October to December rainfall season, amid evolving El Niño conditions. This initiative underscores the government's proactive stance on climate and disaster readiness.
