President William Ruto officially launched the Beyond 2030 National Conversation at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi. This pivotal event gathered senior government officials, political leaders from various parties, and representatives from faith groups, youth, students, and all 47 counties.

The initiative aims to craft a comprehensive, people-centered development agenda extending to 2060, succeeding the current Vision 2030 framework. It seeks to build a broad national consensus on Kenya’s long-term priorities, ensuring the development plan transcends immediate political interests and electoral cycles.

Objectives of the Beyond 2030 National Conversation

  • Develop an inclusive, long-term development roadmap for Kenya through 2060.
  • Engage citizens from diverse backgrounds to participate in shaping the nation’s future.
  • Establish a sustainable agenda that moves beyond short-term political considerations.

The event underscores the government’s commitment to inclusive planning and nationwide engagement to secure Kenya’s socio-economic progress over the next four decades.
