During a live broadcast on the Oyerepa Afutuo programme, Ghanaian woman Maame Hannah revealed she had been unfaithful with seven men while her husband, Takyi Prince, was working in Dubai.

Hannah initially appeared on the show to criticize her husband for financial neglect after he relocated to the United Arab Emirates. She explained that Prince had sent her monthly support of KSh 8,000, which stopped after he accused her of infidelity.

Prince joined the programme remotely and shared a different perspective. He said Hannah confessed each affair to him over time, starting with one man and eventually admitting to seven. Despite forgiving her initially, he expressed a desire to end their seven-year marriage.

Financial and Divorce Disputes

Hannah admitted financial difficulties contributed to her decisions and did not deny the affairs. She requested repayment of a KSh 23,000 loan from Prince and her share of proceeds from a jointly owned farm before agreeing to any separation.

The exchange attracted widespread attention as the couple aired their grievances publicly, highlighting the strains that long-distance marriages can endure.

Contextual Note

This incident echoes another case reported by TUKO.co.ke, where a Kenyan woman working in Dubai discovered her husband had started a new relationship back home, underscoring challenges faced by couples separated by work commitments.
