KNEC and Attorney General Office Open New Job Opportunities
KNEC and the Attorney General's Office announce openings for audit committee members and a pension manager, inviting qualified Kenyans to apply by early September.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme and the Office of the Attorney General have announced job vacancies targeting qualified Kenyan professionals.
Attorney General Seeks Audit Committee Members
The Attorney General's Office is recruiting for five positions on its Audit Committee, including one chairperson and four members. The chairperson role requires Kenyan citizenship, a bachelor's degree from a recognized university, and at least seven years of experience in audit, financial management, or accounting. Candidates must also be members in good standing with either the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) or the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), with proven expertise in risk management.
The four member positions require a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in the public or private sector. Applicants must be members of a relevant professional body and possess knowledge of public service or government operations. The Office has cautioned that any form of canvassing will result in disqualification.
Applicants should submit detailed CVs, copies of academic and professional certificates, national ID, and testimonials either in person at the Office of the Attorney General located at CBK Pension Towers, 20th Floor, Harambee Avenue, Nairobi, or via email at agvacancies@ag.go.ke. The deadline for submissions is September 7, 2026, at 5 pm.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to present original identification documents, academic and professional transcripts, a Certificate of Good Conduct, and clearance certificates from HELB, KRA, EACC, and an accredited Credit Reference Bureau. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
KNEC Seeks Pension Manager
The KNEC Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme 2011 has advertised a single vacancy for a Pension Manager under Grade 1. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary aligned with the role’s responsibilities.
