English right-back Djed Spence has officially transferred from Tottenham Hotspur to Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri confirmed the signing on Saturday, securing the 26-year-old defender on a contract until June 30, 2031.

Inter reportedly paid €30 million (approximately $35 million) for Spence, who previously joined Spurs from Middlesbrough in July 2022 for €14 million. During his tenure at Tottenham, Spence made 85 appearances and scored twice, establishing himself as a key defensive figure amid a challenging Premier League season.

Spence also boasts international experience, having been an integral part of England's squad that secured third place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. His familiarity with Italian football stems from a six-month loan spell at Genoa in early 2024.

This transfer follows closely on the heels of fellow England international John Stones' move to Inter Milan from Manchester City. Together, Spence and Stones are expected to bolster Inter's defensive lineup alongside Italian internationals Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco.
