The Spanish Football Federation announced that the 2027 Spanish Super Cup will take place in Turkey at Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium.
The tournament, featuring a Final Four format, is scheduled from February 2 to 7, 2027. The participating teams include Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Real Sociedad.
Since 2020, Saudi Arabia has hosted the competition; however, it will no longer be the venue due to scheduling conflicts with the Asian Cup, Asia’s premier international men’s football tournament.
Barcelona enters the 2027 Super Cup as the defending champions, having defeated Real Madrid in the 2026 final. The competition features the winners and runners-up of La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
