International music icon and entrepreneur Rihanna recently took her three children to visit the street in Barbados where she grew up, now officially named Rihanna Drive in her honour.
The 37-year-old singer and businesswoman shared the intimate family outing on Instagram on August 12, 2026, describing the experience as a "trippy" and full-circle moment.
Family Visit to a Cultural Landmark
Rihanna’s sons, RZA (4) and Riot (3), were seen posing next to the street sign bearing their mother’s name, while she held her youngest daughter, Rocki Irish, who is almost one year old.
In her post, Rihanna reflected on returning to her childhood neighbourhood as a mother, writing, "One minute I feel like that kid from Westbury...the next minute I'm bringing my own kids back to 'Rihanna Drive.' The street, formerly known as Westbury New Road in the parish of St. Michael, was renamed in 2017 during Barbados' Independence Day celebrations to honour Rihanna as the country’s most prominent musical export.
