Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has called for a thorough explanation concerning the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Speaking at a media briefing reviewing the Kenya Kwanza administration’s first four years, Gachagua emphasized the need for transparency about the final hours of Raila’s life.
He highlighted that unresolved questions about the deaths of several prominent Kenyans remain a concern. Specifically, Gachagua questioned whether the details surrounding Raila Odinga’s passing have been fully and adequately disclosed to the public.
Among the issues raised were reports that Raila’s personal doctors were denied access to him during his last hours and that medical advice from his team to avoid travel was allegedly ignored. Gachagua asserted that Kenyans deserve to know the truth about these circumstances.
