Riara Springs Girls’ High School has emerged as the Best School Overall at the TeenEagle Global Finals 2026 held in the United Kingdom. The Kenyan school outperformed teams from 33 other countries, showcasing exceptional skills in debating, writing, and creative performance.
The Riara Springs delegation comprised 29 students who collectively brought home 12 trophies and 57 medals, including 18 gold, 19 silver, and 20 bronze medals, along with two Honourable Mentions. This outstanding performance secured their top spot in the overall school rankings.

The competition drew participants from 34 countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe, who competed in various communication disciplines including debating, writing, and creative arts.
Beyond the Awards
Beyond the medals, the event provided Riara Springs students with an invaluable international experience. They engaged with peers from diverse backgrounds, honing critical thinking, persuasive writing, and confident public speaking skills on a global stage.
Mrs Jane Mulinge, Principal of Riara Springs Girls’ High School, expressed pride in the students’ achievements, stating, “Our learners have demonstrated that excellence is not defined by borders. Competing alongside students from 34 countries and emerging as the Best School Overall is a remarkable testament to their discipline, preparation, confidence and determination.”
She also acknowledged the months of preparation by both students and teachers, as well as the supportive role of parents in enabling participation in this prestigious international competition.
