President William Ruto led the 46th Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) passing out parade held in Eldoret, commemorating the successful completion of basic military training by new recruits.

The ceremony signifies the transition of these recruits into fully trained members of the Kenyan armed forces. Throughout the event, the graduates showcased their military drills and skills acquired during training.

Highlights of the parade included an inspection of the troops, performances by the military band, and the awarding of honors to outstanding recruits. The occasion also provided an opportunity for families and friends to witness the formal graduation of their loved ones.

Passing out parades are a key military tradition marking the end of intensive training and the beginning of active service within the defence forces.
