Paul Pogba has been sidelined once again after sustaining a new injury to his left thigh during Monaco's training camp in England. The incident occurred on Tuesday at the English national football centre, St George's Park, shortly after the team’s friendly victory against Liverpool.

The 33-year-old French midfielder, who was returning to group training following a prolonged struggle with right-knee problems, has only managed to participate in 45 minutes of pre-season football so far.

Sources close to the club indicate that Pogba’s current fitness level remains insufficient to start the upcoming Ligue 1 campaign. This setback comes after a challenging period for the midfielder, who served an 18-month doping ban and featured in just six league matches last season, accumulating a total of 115 minutes on the pitch.

As Monaco prepares for the new season, Pogba’s injury raises fresh questions about his ability to contribute meaningfully to the team moving forward.
