Authorities in West Pokot County are probing the death of a 30-year-old man discovered with a throat injury at a quarry in the Lami Nyeusi area.

The deceased, Kiratany Tingwa from Masol Location, was found by police officers with a wound to his throat. Investigators have identified a suspect linked to the incident who fled the scene, leaving behind a national identity card.

Police documented the location with photographs as part of their ongoing inquiries. The body was transferred to Kapenguria Mortuary, where it awaits a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.
