Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has reaffirmed her support for Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka's presidential ambitions ahead of the 2027 General Election. Speaking on August 17, 2026, Ndeti highlighted that residents of Lower Eastern are ready to elect Kalonzo as Kenya's sixth president.
Addressing the Kamba community, the governor emphasized the importance of unity to safeguard their political interests. She cautioned against divisive tactics by some politicians aimed at fragmenting the community for personal gain.
Call for Unity
"Our strength lies in our unity, and our future depends on standing together behind a shared vision," Ndeti said, urging the Kamba people to remain focused and steadfast as the country approaches the polls.
Earlier, on July 25, 2026, Ndeti had also called for a united front within the community, stressing the need for a collective voice to support Kalonzo with determination and purpose.
