In an interview with Kameme TV on August 13, 2026, Kagiri expressed frustration over demands from constituents in Nyeri, Murang’a, and Kiambu counties to speak against President William Ruto’s administration. She stated that whenever she refused to comply, she was labeled a betrayer.
