Instead of giving up, she borrowed clothes and shoes for the photographs needed to submit her applications. This determination was rooted in a dream sparked years earlier by a childhood classmate at Amazing Grace Primary School, who once expressed a desire to become an air hostess.

Despite numerous application rejections and long periods of uncertainty, Peris remained committed to her goal. Without financial means or connections to fast-track her career, she continued to apply persistently, refusing to let her circumstances dictate her future.
