Kenyans holding passports and travelling with Emirates Airlines are now able to obtain a pre-approved 14-day Visit Entry Permit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) through an online application, VFS Global has announced.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must be Kenyan passport holders flying specifically with Emirates.
  • Stay in the UAE should be longer than 48 hours but less than 14 days.
  • The intended travel date must be within 30 days of submitting the application.
  • Applicants are required to hold a valid residence permit in line with UAE regulations.

Application Process

The application must be submitted at least 30 days before the planned entry date via the online portal managed by VFS Global. Interested travellers can initiate the process by visiting dubaivisa.net.

This new system aims to simplify short-term travel arrangements by reducing the need for physical visa processing prior to boarding Emirates flights to the UAE.
