A Kenyan living in the German town of Wunsiedel has offered an inside look at his three-bedroom apartment, revealing details about the rent and living conditions.
Ras Mwas, a Kenyan content creator and gym enthusiast, shared a video walkthrough of his home, which features three bedrooms, a separate toilet and bathroom, a kitchen, living and dining areas, and a balcony overlooking a nearby hill.
He explained that the apartment’s monthly rent is €720 (approximately KSh 108,000). However, due to ongoing kitchen renovations lasting nearly seven months, he has been paying a reduced amount as German tenancy laws allow rent reductions when parts of a property are unusable.
Ras Mwas also noted that similar apartments in larger German cities such as Munich would cost two to three times more, making Wunsiedel’s rental prices comparatively affordable.
