As the world observes International Youth Day, Kenya’s Beach Handball community is celebrating a new generation of athletes who have secured a place at the 2026 Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal.

Call for Increased Support
Caroline Nyadiero, Chairperson of the Beach Handball Commission under the Kenya Handball Federation, urged the nation to invest more in youth athletics. She emphasized that these young athletes are already shaping Kenya’s future through their dedication and hard work.
Nyadiero stated: “Every grain of sand beneath their feet represents a dream, every training session builds courage, and every opportunity brings Kenya closer to a brighter tomorrow. Let us believe in our youth and provide platforms for their talent to flourish.”
