Alonso stated, "Danny can be involved; he just needed a couple of days not training that much because of a little thing. We expect him to be back on Saturday. We need to go day by day."

Jordan Henderson continues to recover from a wrist injury sustained during the World Cup in July and is not yet fully fit. Emmanuel Emegha, who recently returned to training after a hamstring injury disrupted his preseason, is doubtful.
