A Challenging Path to Medicine
Raised by a dedicated mother in Ondo State, Nigeria, Emmanuel’s journey was marked by perseverance. Despite excelling in secondary school and scoring 266 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), he was denied admission to the University of Ibadan, his first choice.
Undeterred, Emmanuel enrolled in a pre-degree program at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) and later pursued Agricultural Economics, a field he grew to appreciate. However, his passion for medicine remained strong.
Visa Denials and Overseas Study Attempts
Emmanuel sought to study medicine abroad, applying for visas six times but facing repeated denials. These setbacks tested his resilience but did not deter his ambitions.
Academic Triumph
Determined to succeed, Emmanuel retook the UTME, achieving a score of 301, and secured admission to Babcock University’s medical program. His hard work culminated in graduating as a medical doctor, a milestone he shared proudly on social media.
