Alshifaa FC and Green Eagles have secured their spots in the final of the second edition of the Sisi Ni Dola Cup, with a Ksh 1 million prize awaiting the champions. The final is scheduled for this Friday at Mombasa Sports Club.
Alshifaa advanced after a tight 1-0 win against Azzam United, courtesy of a goal by Swaleh Lenrod. This victory marked a notable improvement from their previous semifinal exit in the tournament's inaugural edition. Head coach Abdulnasser Kassim commended his team's disciplined execution and confirmed they anticipate fielding a full-strength squad for the final.
Green Eagles earned their place by defeating Nyundo FC 4-3 in a penalty shootout following a goalless draw in regular time. Nyundo and Azzam United will contest the third-place playoff on Thursday.
